Historium Story
Open daily from 11h00 am to 6h00 pm.
Last entry is at 5h00 pm.
A maximum of 10 people may enter the attraction every 5 minutes.

Historium Virtual Reality
Open daily from 11h00 am to 6h00 pm.
Last entry is at 5h30 pm.
A maximum of 16 people may enter the attraction every 10 minutes.

Historium Tower
Open daily from 11h00 am to 6h00 pm.
Last entry is at 5h30 pm.
A maximum of 8 people may enter the attraction every 15 minutes.

Duvelorium Grand Beer Café
Open daily from 11h00 am to 6h00 pm.

Laborium VR Gaming Arcade
Closed until further notice.


Answers to any questions you may have about museums, busses, train schedules, walks, etc. can be found at the Tourist Info Point in the courtyard of the Historium.
The Tourist Info Point is open daily from 10h00 am to 5h00 pm, except for 25/12 and 01/01.


There are pay toilets (€ 0,50) for our visitors in the basement, including a wheelchair-friendly toilet.
There is also a baby corner.


By car
When arriving by the E40 or E403, take exit Brugge. From there, follow the N351 to the R30. From the R30, follow the parking route signs. The Historium is located in the centre of Bruges.

Easy parking is available at the Centrum Station Parking. You enter this car park via the Bruges ring road (R30 Buiten Begijnvest). From here you can take a De Lijn bus to the city centre (Centrum). On presentation of your car park ticket to the bus driver, you will receive a free transfer to and from the city centre (for up to 4 passengers).
Other car parks within walking distance: Centrum ’t Zand, Zilverpand, Biekorf and ’t Pandreitje.

By train
There is a regular train service to Bruges from Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Kortrijk, Oostend, Knokke and Blankenberge. At Bruges train station you can take a bus to the city centre 'Centrum'.

By bus
There is a regular bus service from the station to the Market Square (Markt). All busses to the destination 'Centrum' have stops close to the Historium. Plan your route with De Lijn.

Parking for private buses is available at the coach park (no parking on the Markt).

Wheelchair users

The Historium is easily accessible for wheelchair users. A special route with a customised audio guide has been developed. This allows wheelchair users to move smoothly from floor to floor by lift.

To ensure maximum comfort, only two wheelchair visitors are admitted per show. The Historium provides wheelchair visitors with personal assistance. At busy moments it is therefore possible that wheelchair users may have to wait a short while before starting the tour.
